Description: This piece is made with various planks with Showa time (1926-1989) Japanese female names painted on them, a recreation of the violence and the objectification of women at the time. Women with different cultures from different countries across Asia, were kidnapped and forced into prostitution, their names were stripped away and each given a small cubical with a Japanese name tag on a plank.
