Marianna began her journey in 2018 after leaving secondary school. She then obtained her level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques. She has owned her beauty salon MK BEAUTÉ since November 2022 and she said “I couldn’t be more proud to be up for all these awards after only 1 year and 5 months. <br/><br/><br/>I began my beauty journey in 2018 when I left secondary school. I attended Farnborough College of Technology where I obtained my Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques which I then furthered my education by taking an eyelash extension course. Now I have had my beauty salon since November 2022 and couldn’t be more proud to be up for all these awards after being only 1 year and 5 months into my career.<br/>Beauty salon owner statement from Instagram and Facebook social media : <br/>“Wow! I’m so overwhelmed to share that out of thousands of entries, I am one of five other people in the UK who have been shortlisted as a finalist for The National Beauty Awards. I have been shortlisted as a finalist for Best Lash Artist and Best Lash Salon. I’m absolutely over the moon for my little business to be recognised by this prestigious awards ceremony.”

An unlucky quarter of those on the ranking are poorer than they were in 2023. And 189 people fell below the $1 billion threshold, losing their membership to the three-comma club entirely.<br/><br/>These billionaire drop-offs include moguls behind some notable brands, such as Estée Lauder heir Gary Lauder; Hajime Satomi, former CEO of Japanese gaming company Sega Sammy; and David Tran, owner of the company behind Sriracha hot sauce.<br/><br/>The overwhelming majority of the losses came from China, one of the few huge markets to sputter in an otherwise-positive year amid fallout from slower economic growth, a property market glut, a decline in foreign investment and rising geopolitical tensions. China shed 133 billionaires (including Hong Kong and Macau) since last year’s list.
